New Center, Ann Arbor Michigan
I have been showing my paintings at the New Center, Ann Arbor regularly.
This time, I brought my " ASAKUSA, Japan",
just came back from juried exhibition
at Ann Arbor District Library Downtown Branch.
ニューセンターという所に、
絵をいつも展示しています。
先週、入れ替え日でした。
そこで、ちょうど展覧会から戻ったばかりの絵を持って行きました。
（他の絵を、新しく額に入れなくていいし）
By the parking lot of New Center, there was a train sitting quietly on the train track,
bright morning sun on its back.
I felt like painting morning sun and the train.
Quiet winter morning.
ニューセンターの駐車場の脇は,Huron River のArgo Pond と呼ばれる部分。
線路があって、短い電車が停めてあります。
（置いてあるといった方がいいのかも？）
冬の朝日を描くのもいいかも、という気分になり、描き始めました。
I spray onto my pallets to wet my paints evenly.
I got this from cosmetic section at a store.
It makes very fine mist and I love this sprayer.
パレットに霧吹きで水をまきます。
こうすると、全体に水分がいきわたるので、気に入っています。
この小さな霧吹きは、化粧品コーナーで売っていたもの。
細かい霧が出ます。
My style is very loose.
Things in my painting are not detailed.
I played with flow of paints.
Almost done.
I start thinking about what to paint next.
わたしの好きなスタイルは、ゆるいタッチ。
水をたっぷり使い、絵の具の動きを楽しみます。
だから、ディテールは細かくないです。
もうちょっとでおしまい。
さあ、次は何を描こうかな、と仕上げにかかる時は、
すでに違う事を考え始めているわたしです。
